Acrylic Paintings

I painted this one in the desolation of Greencastle living in winter of 2025. It was a difficult social scene there.

During the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, around August 2020, I was in my first semester of physics graduate school. I was also suffering from mono symptoms and really stuck inside. My mental health was not great, but I decided to start doing nature paintings. Here are some of the pieces I made around that time period.

I was also really inspired by an artist I saw online named Lenoid Afremov. He went viral for making extremely colorful pieces. Here's a piece I made that imitated his style.

In the summer of 2018, I participated in summer research at Wayne State University as part of an REU. I was researching particle physics for the first time, encountering QFT and cross section calculations. I lived on campus and shared an apartment with a fellow REU student named Chloe. Chloe was beautiful and wonderful, a fantastic roommate. We decided to decorate the apartment according to a desert theme (not sure why but it was fun). We made desert paintings together so here's the one I made!
